H.I.S. is a furniture installation company that handles furniture projects from furniture dealers across the U.S.. H.I.S. has been in business since 1974 and continues to grow.

We are looking for a full-time Project Coordinator who will play a key role in handling orders, written interaction, and interacting with Account Managers.

The Project Coordinator supports Account Managers acting as a key liaison with customers, ensuring smooth projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle your assigned customer accounts establishing relationships ensuring 100% Customer satisfaction management, resolving customer questions, concerns and requests
  • Maintain professional internal and external relationships with customers and resolve
  • Ensure that requests are resolved both promptly and thoroughly.
  • Documenting project details in software to maintain accurate records
  • Collaborating with team members and customers to adjust if the project goals change.
  • Maintain Account and work orders within our system.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience with dealing with customers and internal staff
  • Skilled and experienced with Outlook.
  • Strong trouble-shooting skills and ability to find creative solutions.
  • Possess a strong work ethic and team player mentality
  • Ability to work independently
  • Has “thick skin” and can handle issues that arise from a job and multiple tasks
  • Has a pleasant, patient and friendly attitude.
  • Strong decision making and analytical abilities.
  • Strong detail orientation and communication/listening skills.
